An introduction to light music - particularly the intricacies of Bhavageete. is a form of poetry in India, pertaining to subjects like love, nature and philosophy. This form of music is mostly popular in Karnataka, Maharashtra. Some famous Bhavageete by revered poets are ‘Teredide Mane O Baa Atithi’, ‘Yara Mohana Murali Kareyito’, ‘Yava Janmada Maitri’, ‘Muchhumare illadeye’.
